Predeceased by his father Art (1996), his mother Louise (LeTilly) (2012), and brother Joseph (1941), Vic is survived by daughter Vicki Bergeron (Don) and family Ashley (Cody) Clark, Shayla (Garrett) Paradis, Cierra Strutynski, Cheyanne Strutynski; by son Dwain Bergeron and his family Chelsea and Chloe Bergeron; siblings: Diane (Norris) Roszell, Carmelle (Rick) Legare, Norman (Kathy) and Brigitte (Sheldon) Jacob; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Vic was born March 13, 1944 in Assiniboia, SK. Vic grew up working the family farm, attended school at College Mathieu in Gravelbourg, SK, and traveled across the country working for many companies.
Vic was a loving father, grandfather, brother, husband and uncle. He loved farming, cattle and working with wood. He was an avid woodworker using his ingenious ways to create arts of work second to none. His latter years was used for making signs for communities, business’s and anyone who requested which are seen throughout southern Saskatchewan and as far away as Alberta.
Funeral Service was held Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at St. George’s Roman Catholic Church, Assiniboia, SK. Father Dennis Remot presided. Ashley lit the Pascal Candle and Ashley and Dwain presented the tribute. Reader was niece, Wendy Zahariuk. Pallbearers were: Mark Legare, Ryan Legare, Todd Roszell, Cade Bergeron, Grady Zahariuk and Cody Clark. Interment followed at Mount Hope Cemetery, Assiniboia. Donations in memory of Vic may be made to the Coronach & Area Health Care Foundation for the residents. Arrangements entrusted to Ross Funeral Service, Assiniboia, SK.
