He is survived by his Wife, April Roberts Rhyne; Children, Seth Rhyne, Bailey Rhyne, Trey Roberts, Faith Banton (Cory), and Maggie Roberts; Parents, Alex and Velinda Rhyne.
Sloan was a graduate of the 1988 class at Patrick Henry High School in Ashland, VA. After graduation he was employed by Superior Excavating for 17 years. He then went to Nestle Purina and spent the last decade there as a machine maintenance mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, and spending time with his family.
A private visitation will be held for the family.
A Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Hopeful Baptist Church Cemetery, 14340 Hopeful Church Road, Montpelier, VA 23192.
