Russell Glen Marshall

Russell G. Marshall, 63, of Mechanicsville, VA, went to be with the lord on Saturday, August 24, 2013, after his battle with cancer. His father, mother and brother preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Cindy; his children, Ryan Marshall (Lisa), Kim Furr (Robbie), Jennifer Harris (Mark), Angela DeMaria, and Tony DeMaria (Amanda); in addition to 18 grandchildren, brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was an Army Veteran during Vietnam and he worked for Vermeer for 41 years. He was born and raised in Knoxville, IA, and relocated to Virginia in 1988. He was an incredible husband; father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 27 at 3:00p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home in Ashland, VA.
