Hodges, Mary Louise Critcher, 82, of Ashland, passed away on July 28, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Hodges; two sons, James A. and Jessie B. Hodges; siblings, James Critcher, Cora Floyd and John Critcher. She is survived by her son, Edward L. Hodges; daughters, Patricia A. Coakley and Mary E. Hodges; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jessie Critcher, Elizabeth Thomas, Callie Stanley and Barbara Stanley. Mary was a member of Winn’s Baptist Church and order of the Eastern Star. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8pm on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA where a service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, July 31, 2014. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery.
