Poindexter, Marian Williamson, 74, of Ashland VA, native of Crewe, VA, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 27, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Luna Williamson; brothers, Ernie Williamson and James Williamson; and sisters, Lois Ingram and Eva Mae Estep. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Ralph Poindexter; sons, Ronnie Poindexter (Pat), and Mike Poindexter (Judy); grandchildren, Ellen Poindexter and Daniel Poindexter; brothers, Newbill Williamson and Garland Williamson; and a number of nieces and nephews. Marian was the former Vice President and office manager of Ralph’s Plumbing and Heating Inc. She was a member of Winn’s Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 5-8pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday October 1, 2014 at Winn’s Baptist Church, 12320 Winn’s Church Rd., Glen Allen VA. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
