John "Billy" William Smith

SMITH, John “Billy” William, 58. of Doswell, passed away unexpectedly January 10, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father, William Norris Smith. He is survived by his mother, Charlene Coleman, his daughter, Jackie Taylor (John), his granddaughter (who was the star in his eyes) Haley Taylor; his son, Jamie Smith; three brothers: Jimmy Smith (Teresa), Ronnie Smith (Gary) and Donnie Smith (Joyce); two nephews, Devin & Ryan; his niece, Lindsey; great niece, Peyton; he was also survived by his former wife, Tina Smith and his stepfather, Jimmy Coleman. Billy also had many cousins who will miss him. The family will receive friends at the Nelsen Funeral Home Reid Chapel, 412 S Washington Highway, Ashland VA Tuesday, Jan. 14 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm; funeral service will be held Wednesday, Jan 15 @ 11:00 am at Kings Chapel Presbyterian Church, 13346 W Patrick Henry Road, Doswell with interment in the Stanley Family Cemetery, Montpelier.
