Clarence Edward Samuels

SAMUELS, Clarence Edward, 77, of Ashland, went to be with The Lord on Monday, May 17, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Beverly Samuels and Merle Seal Samuels. Ed spent 40 years owning and operating Ashland Building & Remodeling, Inc. He was a member of the Ashland Masonic Lodge and the Acca Shriners for nearly 50 years. Ed will be remembered for his love of boating, RVing, fishing, hunting, trucks and classic cars (Fords only). Ed is survived by his wife of 57 years, Peggy Carter Samuels; son, Troy Samuels (April); daughters, Tammy Whisenhunt (Matt) and Tina Endicott (Jay); grandchildren, Lane Samuels, Gabe Samuels, Sydney Endicott, and Wyatt Dunham. The family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm and again from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va 23005. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Rd, Hanover, Va 23069.
