Cecil Odel Butler, 88, of Montpelier, passed away on January 24, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Eva Clyde Butler; children, Linda (Robert) Gibson, Lisa Froelich, and Edward Butler; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, and other family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 5-7pm at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory - Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Highway, Ashland, VA 23005. A graveside ceremony will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 3:00pm at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
