She was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Allen.
Carroll graduated from North High School in Evansville, Indiana. She worked as a Medical Transcriptionist at Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville, Virginia for many years. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Ashland.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Patrick Allen, her stepson, Kevin Allen (Becky) and his family. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Rachel Allen; Siblings, Frederick J. Koch and Rosemary McLawhorn; niece, Tracy McNulty; and nephew, Mark Hull.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Rd., Triangle, VA 22172.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Carroll's honor to the Richmond SPCA, 2519 Hermitage Rd., Richmond, VA 23220.
