Carole Gibbs Donovan, age 76, of Glen Allen, Virginia passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her life partner, Allen Gates Davis.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Richard Taylor and Thomas Donovan Jr.; many grandchildren, many great grandchildren; and all those who needed a home and found one with her.
Carole was a lifetime member of Hunton Baptist church and was involved in the VFW early in her life. She was a member of the Ashland Moose Lodge. Carole spent her life working with kids and dedicated many years to driving a school bus for Hanover County Schools. She was known for her big heart and will be missed by those who knew her.
The family will receive friends from 10am to 11am on Saturday March 26, 2022 at Hunton Baptist Church, 11660 Greenwood Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23059 where a funeral service will begin at 11am. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, 11310 Hanover Ave., Ashland, VA 23005.
