Aubrey Thomas Cornett, also known to his friends as "Elmo", "Tablecloth", or "Uncle Tom", was born on September 19, 1961, to Willie E Cornett and Jean Elizabeth Ramsey-Mills, was taken from us very suddenly on June 11, 2022, while he was enjoying his favorite time away to relax and unwind with his friends doing the things he loved.
Aubrey is preceded in death by his father, Willie E Cornett in 2017.
He is survived in death by his partner/wife of 27 years, Kathleen A Crump-Cornett, his mother and step-father Jean and Joseph Mills, his Cornett siblings, Bill, Debbie, Kathy-Ann, and Linda; his Mills siblings, "Lil" Joe, Betty Jean, and Charlie.
Tommy has an extremely large very tight-knit family with whom he loved beyond words. The family will receive friends from 12 pm to 1 pm on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA with a funeral service to follow at 1 pm officiated by pastor, Rick Dill, the former pastor of Ashland Church of God.
Aubrey is gone but will never be forgotten.
