Steven J. "Steve" Johnson, age 64, of Festus, Missouri passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023. Steve was born in St. Louis, MO on August 28, 1958. loving son of the late Lawrence Edward and Mary Catherine (nee Bertels) Johnson Sr.; dear brother of Patricia K. (and the late James) Looney, Karen S. Edwards, Timothy J. (and the late Donna Sensmeyer) Johnson and the late Lawrence E. Johnson Jr. and Victor K. Johnson ; dear Uncle, Great Uncle, Godfather and friend to many.
Steve enjoyed shooting, hunting, country music and watching Cardinal games on T.V.
A visitation for Steve will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2300 Church Rd., Arnold, MO 63010. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 27, 2023, 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church. A committal service will occur Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at Laurel Hill Cemetery, 2000 N. Pennsylvania, Pagedale, MO 63133. Memorial donations in Steve's Honor may be made to the National Head Injury Foundation.
