Patrick Matthew Prindiville, known as “Pat, Paddy, Daddy” was a beloved and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, godfather, friend, and colleague to so many. The youngest of six, Patrick brightened the world on November 23, 1981, in St. Louis, Missouri. It is with profound sadness yet rooted in his faith that Patrick met our Lord on Friday, January 13, 2023, while sleeping at his home in Manchester, Missouri. He was forty-one. “Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4
Patrick graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Holding responsible positions in Human Resources within Healthcare, Composting and most recently at BreakThru Beverage-Missouri, he thrived with strong, positive leaders and colleagues. Patrick loved nothing more than spending time with his wife Nikki and being a Daddy to Caroline, age 7. He was always creating with the next fun adventure. Tradition in the Catholic faith was especially important to Patrick for Caroline’s formation. He recently helped her get ready for her first Reconciliation, and he was planning a party to celebrate the sacrament of Caroline’s First Holy Communion in the Spring. “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.” John 14:1-4
Patrick loved life. He was a cheerleader to anyone who needed a smile. If he knew someone needed work, he would be on the lookout, continually sending job postings, suggestions, or words of hope. Pat had a huge heart for others in need. Patrick also had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews, nurturing them at an early age and then staying connected with them as they grew. Pat absolutely loved his kitties too (and most recently Caroline’s guinea pigs Delores and Julietta.) Patrick was comfortable in his own skin which made him so easy to love just the way he was. From the time he was small, creating paper cartoon figures for hours on end in his room to reenacting the Muppet shows – to growing up at his parent’s second home in Hermann, MO as he roamed the fields and tried not to get kicked by Dick the Bull – it was a pure gift to see Pat grow into the man he was today. He was creating a strong path for his family, all the while, knowing there are challenges. He recognized life and people are not perfect. Patrick had the grace to move on from small and even big things because of his love of God and family. His goodness knew no bounds. Within his big personality, he was a great protector, strong and mighty. Paddy was also a puddle at times. He could tear up when others were sad or even at super happy news. Patrick’s booming laugh was infectious! He will be remembered for his sense of humor and creative prank jokes (especially on his Dad.) His family will continue to retell these stories for years to come. “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” Psalm 17:22

Patrick is survived by his loving wife Nicole “Nikki” Marie Prindiville (nee Ellis); his daughter Caroline Prindiville, the late Patrick Matthew Prindiville Jr.; forever cherished by his parents, Gary J.
