Mary Ellen Farrell

Mary Ellen Garner Farrell of Arnold, Missouri, went home to be with the Lord early Monday evening, October 24, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Amy Garner of Bennett, NC and her husband's parents, Oliver and Claire Farrell, of Arnold, MO. Mary is survived by her loving husband Brian and her children, Paul and Sarah, all of the home. She is also survived by her siblings: Pat Garner of Bennett, North Carolina; Cheryl Butler (husband Dale, daughters Suzanne Springer and Gina Humble) of Gadsden, Alabama; Michael Garner (wife Kim, son Jonathan Garner and daughter Amanda Walker) of Asheboro, North Carolina; Laurie Purvis (husband Clay, son Daniel Purvis, daughter Haley Purvis) of Robbins, North Carolina; Jeff Garner (wife Brooke, daughter Jessica Garner of Bennett, NC, son Nathan, daughter Campbell, of the home) of Denton, North Carolina.

Mary loved teaching and singing in the choir at Church. She loved to sew for her family and friends. Mary had a great passion for teaching others about Christ.

Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday October 27, 2022, 1:00 pm at the Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home 1081 Jeffco Blvd. Arnold, MO 63010 with visitation from 10:00 am until time of service. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery, Barnhart, MO. Memorial donations in Mary's Honor may be made to the American Cancer Society. The Rev. L. Dale Butler (brother-in-law) will officiate the service.
