Gloria Faye Hilse

Gloria was born in Decatur, Alabama on June 26, 1938 to the late Ervin and Thelma (nee Long) Terry; beloved wife of Edward "Ed" Hermann Hilse Jr.; loving mother of the late Terry Wayne Braswell and Jerry Leon Braswell; loving step mother of Lisa Hilse and Pam (Doug) Braswell; dear mother-in-law of Nancy Braswell and Christine Granda; loving grandmother of Melea (Todd Naasz) Roark, Vanessa (Nick) Seaver, Valena (Coy) Williams, Michael (Matt Tallent) Braswell, Gregory (Christin) Braswell, Shawn Braswell and Amanda (Derrick) Matson; 19 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. To many to name them all.; dear sister of Bobby Jean Dudley, Judy (and the late Kyle) Long and the late Lois Lott, Kenneth Terry, Tennis Terry, Prentis Terry, Dalton "Woody" Terry and Loretta Cothren; dear aunt and friend to many.

Gloria loved the Lord and was a giving person, children, grandkids and great grandkids were her passion as well as her friends which also were very important to her. She also enjoyed bowling.

A visitation for Gloria will be held Monday, June 17, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010. Funeral service will be celebrated Monday, 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Gloria's Honor may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
