Eldon "Skip" L. Stewart, age 84, of Cedar Hill, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Skip was born on May 25, 1938 to the late Marvin and Barbara (nee Calvert) Stewart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan (nee Crowder), and his sons; Steve and Martin Stewart.
Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Rick (Donna) Stewart and Melissa (Rick) Cattron. He was a loving brother to Shirley Dvorak, Bob (Cindy) Stewart, Mark (Anna) Stewart, and Lorna (Brad) Anderson. Skip will be also be missed by his grandchildren; Chris Stewart, Sahra (Greg Bitter) Stewart, Josh (Heather) Stewart, and Courtney (Jay) Holtman, along with his five great-grandchildren. He was an uncle, a cousin, and a friend to all that knew him.
Skip was one of a kind with many interest throughout his life, such as; motorcycles, horseback riding, tinkering with cars, and even driving a Tractor Trailer! He was also a certified scuba diver. Skip had a fun-loving personality and was dedicated to loving and caring for his family. He would take his family on cherished vacations during the summer months to Table Rock and Bull Shoals lakes. Every fall, he could be found horse backing through the Rocky Mountains of Colorado with his pals hunting for Elk.
A visitation for Skip will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Skip will be laid to rest at Shepherd Hills Cemetery, 1925 Old State Rd M., Barnhart, MO 63012.
