Carolyn Lyle Crosby, a resident of Bethesda Dilworth Nursing Home, passed from this life into the hope of Christ’s resurrection on June 29, 2021 at the age of 93. She was born on August 28, 1927. She formerly lived at Bethesda Orchard Independent Living center in Webster Groves, Mo, and before that, lived most of her life in Arnold, Mo after her marriage. She was a long-standing member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Imperial. Mo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward E. Crosby, her parents, Charles Lyle Hamilton and Caroline Elizabeth Schaaf Hamilton, and her three sisters, Amelia Jane Hamilton Williams (George), Gladys Mae Hamilton Boles (Clarence), and Marion Hamilton. She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Carol Niederlander, George Williams (Dianne), Janet Williams Solomon (David), Marilyn Williams Langrehr (Charles), Dawn Frances Doss (Mike), and Daniel Irving Crosby (Anna Marie), a cousin, Edna Schaaf Johnson, and numerous great nieces and nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials donations in Carolyn’s name may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 6550 State Route 21, Imperial, Missouri 63052.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 PM at Heiligtag Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO 63010. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
