Stavros “Steve” Damianidis, 80, of Arlington, WA passed away on May 26th 2012 peacefully at home. Stavros and his wife Kristina of 46 years have owned and operated Olympia Pizza house in Smokey Point since 1977. Stavros and his brother John immigrated to the United States from Greece in the 60’s. Stavros enjoyed working at the Pizza house and visiting with his many customers and friends. He always sat at his table drinking coffee and having conversations with anyone who wanted to talk. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandkids and watching them play and grow. Stavros was preceded in death by his parents, Eleftarios and Eleftari Damianidis and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Kristina Damianidis and two sons, Terry, Nick (Spring), grandchildren Krystalenia, Stavros, Alexander and Kevin. He is also survived by his brother John (Tina) and their children Mary, Kristina, Chris and Terry (Cari). Viewing will be held June 1st 2012, 12-5 p.m. at Weller Funeral Home, 327 N. MacLeod Ave., Arlington, WA. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 2nd 2012, 1 p.m. at Weller Funeral Home with a private family burial at Arlington cemetery.
