On July 7th 2024, the spirit of our beloved mother left this beautiful earth surrounded by people who loved her while a prayer was said to send her off to spend eternity with her Lord and Savior. Judy was born September 13, 1953 in PA. to Roy and Lorraine Hargrove. After graduating from Highline College she married Allan Krohn in 1970 and had two stunningly gorgeous children. Although their marriage did not endure, they raised their two children together and remained friends.
It was during her marriage that she fell in love with nature. She reveled in hiking, camping, tending to her yard, and nurturing hundreds of plants and flowers. Even on her last day she said how in ahh she was of the beauty of this earth. She was very physically active by taking up Tae Kwon Do, rollerblading, swimming and going to the gym. Above all, her unwavering faith in God defined her life. She was baptized in February 1972 and followed the word of God until the day she passed. Sundays held a special place in her heart—attending church and receiving her weekly phone call from her son, Allan Jr., who resides in New Mexico.
Judy leaves behind her son Allan Krohn Jr., daughter Pamela Kavanagh (Jay), grandsons Logan Krohn, Paige Kavanagh (Erica), and Anthony Krohn, great grandson Curtis Kavanagh, great granddaughters Iyla Croft and Makenna Kavanagh, sisters Nancy Stensrud and Diana Hargrove, brothers John Hass and Todd Vogt. She is preceded in death by her parents Lorraine Hargrove Engeseth and Roy Hargrove, brothers Clyde Hass and Charles Hargrove.
The family request that donations be made to The Voice of Martys who she supported. Donations can be made online at www.persecution.com.
There will be a private family burial, a memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Judys church, Camano Chapel August 8th, 2024 at noon with light snacks and beverages afterwards. Upon Judy’s request she has asked that you wear bright and vibrant colors to her memorial service.
Dear God, we give you our beloved mother
