He was born April 26, 1940 in Vian, Oklahoma. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the U.S Navy. He had several other career paths and enjoyed sharing stories about the cross-country adventures in the seat of the 18 wheelers as well as the Law Enforcement/Correction Officer ones. He retired from Monroe State Prison in 2005.
He was preceded in death by his wife Georgia Lois Williams, father Irby Hall Williams, mother Maggie Mae McCracken, sister Edna Grubaugh, and brothers Albert “Speck” Williams, Earl Williams, Jack Williams, Robert Lee Williams and John "Tommy" Thomas Williams.
He leaves behind his beloved partner Gloria Jean David and 6 children Debra Sizemore, Darla Jill Nelson (Carl), Dale Hall Williams, Rebecca Sue Cobb (Robert), Angela Williams and Troy Wayne Williams. 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren are on the way as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In Harolds spare time you could always find him working in the wood shop and Singing karaoke with family and friends. Everyone that knew him loved him for his crazy stories and silly jokes. He was definitely one of a kind!
