I knew Jess while living in Arlington many years ago. She was an incredible person, full of strength, laughter, and honesty. She was so kind to me, and I will miss her. There is no better measure of someone’s spirit and beauty than kindness, and her kindness radiated, touching many people. A beautiful soul. Rest in peace and light.

I knew Jessica many years ago when we were in grade school together. I remembered being a shy new kid starting 2nd grade in Miss Grauls class mid year, and I remembered Jessicas friendliness and making me feel less alone in a new school. I remember her taking homework to my house once whe I was sick for a few weeks. These school yard history and loyalties are the things that are foundational to who we are sometimes. Though we never kept in touch, it is a kindness and warm memory that prompted me to try and reach out and I am immensely sad to read that she recently passed. Please accept condolences.

Jessica Towers, my niece, would have been 42 in March. She died unexpectedly December 19th.
She is survived by her parents Irve and Elizabeth, her boyfriend Tommy,  her Aunts, Carmela (Beau), Tami (Craig),  cousins Steven  (Lindsay),  Nick (Lauren),  Anna (Ryan). She is predeceased by her beloved brother Joe, Grandparents Gay and Gus Macri.  Jessica’s life has been full of many challenges, which she has met with strength, humility, determination and courageous compassion.  Her big heart for anything living that was hurting led her to rescue many animals as well as befriend people in need.  Jessica’s heart and humility alongside her sensitivity was the reason people were drawn to her.  Her gracious grit,  her wicked wit,  made for a tenacious determined demeanor that brought respect. Her low laugh and sassy sense of humor drew others to her.  I still hear her saying through all the difficulties in life,  “I know right!?”
