Cynthia (Faul) Chandler, 82, died at her home on August 25, 2023. She was born in Cleveland, OH on September 4, 1940. Her death was preceded by that of her parents Marguerite (Brady) and F. Leonard Faul; her brother, Michael Faul and her truly beloved husband, Herbert G. Chandler whom she married on July 14, 1967. She lived in New York City; Troy, MI; Philadelphia and Mansfield, OH before settling in Arlington in 2000.
Survivors include her sister, Georgianne O’Connor of Alexandria; sisters-in-law, Margaret Faul of Parkland, FL and Nora Chandler of Rotonda West, FL; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 10 AM to 11 AM at Murphy Funeral Home, Arlington, VA with a service to follow. Interment will be 3 PM at Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Elephant Sanctuary, P.O. Box 393, Hohenwald, TN 38462.
