Willem Trevor Henry, born November 8, 1989, passed away with his family surrounding him on October 6, 2024, at the age of 34. He was a devoted and loving husband to Stephanie, his "love wife," whom he married on May 24, 2014.
Trevor’s heart was as vast as his love for animals, especially his cat Bear. His kindness extended to all living creatures, even spiders. Known for his generosity and playful spirit, Trevor was the kind of person who could fix almost anything, always with a joke at the ready. He loved to make others laugh and was a true friend to everyone he met, with an infectious smile and a heart full of care.
Trevor spent over a decade at the UTA Planetarium, where his famous "planetarium voice" captivated many audiences. He cherished teaching and sharing his passion for the stars. Most recently, he worked as an IT Specialist for the City of Bedford, where he found fulfillment working closely with the library, animal services, HR, fire and police departments, his fellow IT colleagues, and so many others.
Trevor was a beacon of light for all those around him, always offering a kind word, a helping hand, and plenty of jokes. His love for life and people knew no bounds.
He was preceded in death by his Big Dad, Dr. Walter Henry; his Nana, Wanda Henry; his Opa, Willem Broekhuizen; and his uncle, Dr. Gary Henry.
Trevor leaves behind his beloved wife, Stephanie and their kitties, his parents, Dr. Timothy and Janneke Henry; his aunt and uncle, Astrid and Craig Jones and his cousins Andrew (Maddie and Liam), Adam (Sydney), Clara, and Marshall; his Oma, Greetje Broekhuizen; his aunt, Sandy Henry and his cousins David (Claire, Eloise, Sarah), Christopher (Jenny, Berkley, Quincy), Collin (Brittany, Kate); his uncle, Dr. Mark Henry (Chris), his aunt, Lisa Henry, and his cousins Stephen (Holly, Hannah, Hadley) and Matthew.
Trevor is also survived by his in-laws, Glynn and Kim Ingram; sister-in-law Melyssa and her husband Daniel, nieces Emmalee and Rilynn; and sister-in-law Holly.
