Tommie Jo Maddry, 80, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church of Arlington.
Tommie was a member of First United Methodist Church for over 40 years. She attended Arlington State College where she met and later married Billy Paul Maddry. They were married 43 years until his death in 1990. Tommie participated in March of Dimes walks, MS walks, American Heart Association walks and the Cowtown Marathon every year for many years.
Survivors: Her daughter, Kathleen Anne Nephew of Arlington; son, Paul Thomas Maddry of Leytonville, Calif.; sister, June Thomas of Dallas; grandchildren, Sara Anne Alvarado and Hunter Travis Nephew, both of Arlington; great-granddaughter, Liana Marie Alvarado of Arlington; and aunt, Judy Grier of Dallas.
