Sarah Eileen Willis

Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Home. Entombment: Moore Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Sarah Eileen Myre was born August 5, 1936, in Josephine to George Raymond and Minnie Eunice Myre. She was a graduate of Community High School in Nevada. During the 1950s, she worked in Dallas at Northwestern Mutual Insurance Co. She married Croy Willis on July 26, 1958, in Dallas. She lived with her husband and children in Dallas, later moving to Memphis, Tenn., and Birmingham, Ala., before returning to Texas and had lived in Arlington since 1975. She worked primarily as a licensed childcare worker. She was the director of Oakwood Day School in Arlington for many years. She recently retired from Childcare Network in Arlington. She was a active member of Lamar Baptist Church.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Croy Willis; six sisters, Mabel, Geneva, Margaret, Eloise, Georgie and Opal; her brother, William; and two infant brothers.

Survivors: Her daughter, Belinda Willis; her son, Mitch Willis and his wife, Cari; grandsons, Clay Lovett and his wife, Regina, Preston Willis and Parker Willis; sister, Mary Ruth McLemore and her husband, Sidney; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
