Sally Diane Spelts Allison of Arlington went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 15, 2022, 26 days past her 66th birthday. Her SALLY ALLISON’S CELEBRATION OF LIFE Memorial Service: 2PM, Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Moore Funeral Home, N. Davis St., Arlington, TX.
Born in Madrid, NE she relocated to Arlington when 2 and lived the next 64 anchored to the greater Arlington area. She attended all 12 years in AISD and one semester at Texas Wesleyan College, now TWU, to do the same teaching degree at the same school as her mom, Jean.
There are so many accomplishments in Sally’s life but according to her the top 2 were that of being a wife and mother in which she indeed excelled at both!!!
Being a stay-at-home mom was her greatest joy – her words many times – and everything else came second. Her husband and those four sons of hers seemingly completed and fulfilled her in every way.
The 5 men in her life will forever miss having such an anchor and intercessor. Our pain of loss is only dulled by the absolute promise of being reunited again in such a short span of time in the view of eternity.
Loving people and her kindness were her trademarks. “Love people the way they need to be loved and not just the way you want to love them is the key.” Sally Allison
Drama, Theatre and the Performing Arts were an almost inseparable part of her life. Her natural talents and abilities with added intuitiveness became a true force to be reckoned with when she went deeper into the things of God. Touching and changing lives became her purpose over simply entertaining someone.
That was the shift and there was never a thought of retreat from that as it was her mission in life…for life.
To have known Sally was to have known and touched incarnate love. She never ceased loving people.
Let that be known as her legacy.
Sally is survived by her Husband, Dennis; Sons: J.P. and wife, Ivana; David B.; Daniel and wife, Josie; and Stephen. Grandchildren: Nicklas; Josiah; Alizah; and Daniella. Father: - Dan Spelts; Brother – Bob, and wife, Laurie.
