Rosemary was born to the late Alvin and Ruth Haedge on April 23, 1938, in Dallas, TX. She graduated from Sunset High School in 1956 and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University. She worked as an RN for several companies, and ended her career as a Public Health Nurse for Dallas County Health Department.
She married George Morgan, Jr on April 29, 1961 in Dallas, TX. The couple lived in Arlington, TX their entire married lives.
Rosemary is survived by her husband of 60 years: George (Mack) Morgan; daughters: Melanie Grace Morgan of Dallas and Vickie Diane Gipson of Arlington; son in law: Jim Gipson Jr; grandchildren: Sadie Rose Gipson and George Taylor Gipson; sister: Diane Carrington; niece: Angela Carrington; nephew: Steve Carrington; brother: Roland Haedge and his wife JoAnn; nephews: Philip, Daniel, and Alan Haedge. Rosemary was much loved also by Mack’s family, including his brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Rosemary deeply loved her family, and enjoyed flowers, music, musical theater and travel. The couple passed these passions on to their daughters. Rosemary enjoyed baking Christmas goodies, and especially making her famous pecan pralines, tea time tassies, and divinity.
Her kind, gracious spirit will be missed by all who knew her. She was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.
The visitation will be held at Moore Funeral Home at 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012 from 5-7pm on Friday, July 16th. There will be a service at the South Chapel at the same location at 2pm on Saturday, July 17, 2021. On Sunday, July 18th, there will a burial at Henry Prairie Cemetery in Franklin, TX at 2pm.
