Robert VanVorst

Robert Leo VanVorst, 71, went to be with his Lord on Friday, February 17, 2012. Robert was born July 3, 1940 in Helena, Montana to Robert VanVorst and Mary Murphy. Robert was married to Doris Rowlands Parman on June 6, 2005.

Robert was a member of the Blackfeet Tribe, The American Legion Post #0345, and the AARP. He served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged. He was also a member of the Oasis Baptist Church.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his Aunt Rose Kuger, Lorraine VanVorst, and his stepson, Melvin Parman.

Robert was survived by his loving wife, Doris, daughter Bobbi Farmer of Hardin, Montana, grandchildren: Julia Farmer, Danielle Farmer, Robert Farmer, and James Cudd, Jr., Brother John VanVorst and his wife Cathy of Hamilton Montana, and Sisters Mary Elizabeth Massik and Rosemary Coulter and husband Robert; Stepsons Jeffrey Parman and wife Rosa, Benny Parman and wife Debbie, Ralph Parman and wife Betty, and Jane Parman wife of Melvin Parman; Nine step-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Robert will be honored by 2 of his granddaughters, Julia Farmer and Rebekah Lynn, singing at the service .

Pallbearers include Robert Farmer, Mike Espinoza, Eddie Bailey, Jeffrey Parman Jr., Geoffrey Parman, and Alan Lythgoe

The visitation will be Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Moore Funeral Home

The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Moore Funeral Home Chapel.
