Robert William Simpson

Robert was born on Tuesday July 12, 1949 in Queens, New York to Wheeler and Evelyn Simpson. He was raised in Arlington, Texas and attended Arlington High School.

Robert served his country in the United States Army, retiring with the rank of Sergeant First Class, after 20 years of Honorable Service.

He married Linda Hughes in 1974 and the couple had five children.

In his spare time he enjoyed riding motorcycles, singing karaoke, watching westerns, playing poker, visiting with family and friends.

Roberts family and friends will always remember his great jokes, story telling, and his tremendous love for our country.

He is preceded in death by his Parents: Wheeler and Evelyn Simpson, Sister Christine, Daughter Debbie.

Robert is survived by his wife: Linda; Brother Ed Simpson: his children Dana Black, Ricky Briggs, Robert Lancaster, Jeff Simpson; fourteen grandchildren, and twenty three great- grandchildren.
