Robert Joseph Lewis

Robert enlisted and served in the US Navy. Following his service, he earned a Bachelor’s degree and began his career as a Mechanical Engineer with several Electrical Delivery companies.

He loved to work in his yard, planting flowers, tending his trees, and spending time with his family. He will always be remembered for his compassion and faith. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his Aunt Connie. He was survived by his beloved wife of thirty years, Linda Lewis; daughters Kelli (Mike) McElroy, Deborah (Paul) Massey, Tabitha Lyon, Christy (Ed) Hennessy and Melody Durland; sons Robert (Carmen) Lewis Jr., James Lewis, John (Gina) Lewis and Nick Lewis; aunt Anne Campbell; sister Pat (Fred) Loeber; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at Moore Funeral Home on Thursday, March 1, from 6-8 p.m. Services will be celebrated on Friday, March 2, with a Rosary recited at 10:30 a.m. and a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church; 1200 S Davis Dr., Arlington, TX 76013.
