Neil graduated from SMS University with a degree in accounting and was a Army Airborne Ranger. He was the founder and president of Moto Mirror Inc. and participated in many organizations that supported improved safety for the heavy-duty trucking industry. He was a nominee for safety by the Presidential Safety Council in Washington, D.C., in 1997. Neil had many interests, including big game hunting, marksmanship, art, music, history and baseball.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Antoinette Gibson, and brother, Bob Gibson.
Survivors: He leaves behind his loving children, Rob Gibson of Albuquerque, N.M., and Beth Gibson-Brown and husband, Randall, of Nashville, Tenn.; stepdaughters, Eleanor Czaika of Arlington, Jeanne Czajka Richards and husband, Brad, of Albuquerque, N.M., and Laura Sagen and husband, Ken, of Bedford.
