Minh Duy Bui

On Wednesday, September 28, 2022, the Bui family lost a remarkable husband, father, and brother. Minh Duy Bui passed away at the age of 64, after a brief battle with an aggressive form of liver cancer. He was at his home surrounded by his loving family and his siblings.

Minh was born on November 2, 1957, in Saigon, Vietnam. After immigrating to the United States in 1975, he graduated from O.D. Wyatt High School. He earned an Associate’s Degree in Machine Shop Technology in 1983 and another Associate’s Degree in Quality Technology in 1985. He later attended East Texas University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology in 1992.

In November 1990, he married Ha Minh Duong after seven years together. In February 1992, they welcomed daughter Tram-Anh Thi Bui and son Dan Duy Bui in December 1998.

Minh was a senior employee in his quality assurance department at Lockheed Martin for 25+ years until he retired in 2018. He and his family are immensely proud of his many years of hard work and dedication.

Minh’s determination, humor, and kindness made him extraordinary. He was deeply loved by all and will be forever missed.

Visitation will be held both on Thursday, October 13 and Friday, October 14 from 12-9 PM at Moore Funeral Home (1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012). Prayer will be held from 7-8 PM on both days. The funeral service will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (2100 North Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012) on Saturday, October 15 at 10 AM, followed by cremation at Moore Funeral Home at 12 PM.

Instead of flower arrangements, Minh`s family requests that donations be made to Minh`s supported charity for those who would like to do so. A donation box will be available at Moore Funeral Home.
