Following high school, Glenn enlisted in the Marine Corp and did two tours in Vietnam. He served for four years. After being honorably discharged from the Marines, he became a self-made man as an entrepreneur and was successful in many aspects of life. His greatest passion was serving the Lord and quit the corporate world to pastor at Grace Vineyard Christian Fellowship. Doing the Lord's work was his calling. After retiring from the church, he started a new career at TRW as well as many other endeavors.
Glenn loved spending time with family, friends, country music, and cheering on the Cowboys, Mavericks and Rangers. You could always find him wearing a Rangers cap or Cowboys shirt. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his kids and grandchildren who lovingly called him Popeye.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dale Hunt. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Kathie Terrell; son Kelly Terrell and wife Jenny of Trophy Club, son Kasey Terrell and wife Whitney of Arlington, and son Kevin Terrell of Arlington; grandchildren Kellissa, Walker, Elijah, Dylan, Aydia, Lynlee and Lauren; step brother J. Richard Terrell of Vancouver, WA, and step sister Judith A. Coates of Dallas, TX.
Visitation will be held at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX, on Monday, June 10, from 6pm - 8pm.
