ARLINGTON—Kenneth Andrew Martin, 67, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011. Chapel service 12:30 p.m. Monday followed by graveside service at Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation 11:30 a.m. Monday at Moore Funeral Home.
He proudly served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps, with one-year tour of duty in Vietnam. Ken graduated from Kent State University and worked in the oil and chemical industry. He loved his family, enjoyed the outdoors and water activities. He was preceded in death by infant grandson, Brady Robert Martin, and parents Michael and Ruth Martin.
Survivors include wife Phyllis, daughter Apryl Semmer and husband Michael, son Brent Martin and wife Jamey, brothers William and John Martin, sisters Mary Warmath and Janet Hamm, granddaughter Samantha Semmer, grandsons Zachary and Nolan Martin, numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
