Jonathan Harold Ruffin, a man of faith, love, and unyielding spirit, was born to his devoted parents, Dorothy Jean Ruffin and John Harold Ruffin, on May 15, 1980, in Fort Worth, Texas. He peacefully departed this life on December 6, 2024, leaving behind a legacy cherished by all who knew him.
From an early age, Jonathan dedicated his life to God, finding his spiritual home at Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle Church in Fort Worth, TX. Under the nurturing guidance of Bishop Robert Etheridge, he was baptized and began a lifelong journey of faith. This profound connection to God was the cornerstone of his life, guiding him through every endeavor with compassion and grace.
Jonathan was a proud graduate of Eastern Hills High School, where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors. A true entrepreneur at heart, he successfully owned and operated a lawn care service and a dog grooming service, where his commitment to excellence was evident in everything he did. His work was more than a career; it was a testament to his dedication and hard work.
Jonathan was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Dorothy Jean Ruffin, whose love and guidance shaped him into the remarkable man he became. Her spirit will forever remain in his heart.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved son, Jonathan Harold Ruffin Jr. of Arlington, TX; his devoted father, John Harold Ruffin (Mary) of Rock Hill, SC; two loving sisters, Yolanda Hamm (Harrison) of Desoto, TX, and Tarnesha Cook (Sy’Gerry) of Grand Prairie, TX; four loving bonus siblings, David Cousar (Kimberly) of Duncanville, TX, La Shon Cousar Parks (Cedric) of Fort Worth, TX, Princess Fair of Grand Prairie, TX, and LaToya Fair of Rock Hill, SC. Their bond was unbreakable, and their love for one another will endure forever.
Jonathan's memory will also be cherished by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other loved ones. His warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Though Jonathan has left this earthly realm, his legacy of love, faith, and dedication will continue to inspire those who knew him. His life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of faith, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
A Memorial Service for Jonathan will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive Arlington, TX 76012.
