Gloria Jean Kaska

Gloria Jean Kaska, age 82, of Arlington, Texas passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024. In Arlington, Texas surrounded by her family. She was born on October 15, 1942, in Youngstown, Ohio to Dominic and Rosa Carbone. Gloria was raised in Niles, Ohio.

She married Laddie Kaska in 1963, and the couple had three children. She was an administrative assistant at the Environmental Protection Agency where she worked for more than 5 years.

Gloria is preceded in death by her infant son, her parents, Dominic and Rosa Carbone and her brother, Anthony Carbone.

She is survived by her loving family, including her husband, Ladislav (Laddie); her two daughters, Laura Dossett and Patsy Frey. Their spouses Tracy Dossett and Carl Frey. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Christian Frey, Chandler Frey, Jordan Dossett, Dylan Dossett and Cassady Frey, and her great grandson Liam Frey. She was also loved by Trisha Frey, Champeria Stevens and Kylea Smith.

Gloria treasured her family most of all. She looked forward to family time and especially enjoyed time with her grandkids baking cookies, making crafts, and cheering them on in any and all endeavors. She had a knack for telling stories of days gone by with added touches of humor and mystery. She even kept them interested by engaging in ghost stories and tales passed down from generations. She enjoyed scrapbooking and writing stories for her grandchildren, attending car club events with friends, camping, and loved all things, Easter! She was fiercely proud of her grandchildren and formed forever long memories with them on her carefully planned road trips she took with them. She encouraged her loved ones to always live life in the moment and to look and listen for signs from their guardian angels for inspiration and guidance. She was true to herself and honestly “Gloria.” She will be forever loved and remembered, and forever missed.

A Funeral Service to Celebrate Gloria will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, beginning at 1:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive Arlington, TX 76012. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM and burial will follow the service in Moore Memorial Gardens.
