Glenda Ruth Ritter

Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Moore Funeral Home, with committal service following in Parkdale Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Glenda was born on July 29, 1940 in Carbon, Texas to Johnnie and Lucy Holloway. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1958. She was married to Wayne Ritter in the summer of 1958. Glenda and Wayne owned and operated Ritter Tire & Auto Service in Arlington for several years.

Glenda was preceded in her death by her husband, Wayne, her parents, Johnnie and Lucy Holloway, and her brother, Johnnie Holloway.

Glenda is survived by her sons, John Ritter and wife, Tara, of Arlington, Glen Ritter and wife, Linda, of Arlington, grandchildren, Matt Ritter and wife, Allison, of Arlington, Michael Ritter of Arlington, Jenny Williams and husband, Stephen, of Arlington, David Ritter of Arlington, Brian Ritter and fiance, Cassi Davis, of Arlington, brothers Bob Holloway of Arlington, Jimmie Holloway and wife, Pam, of Arlington, sister, Dean Pollard of Alvarado as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She also has six great grandchildren, Maddox, Mason, Manning, Chris, Kylie, and Madison.
