Donna Lee Wait

Donna Lee Wait, age 74 of Arlington, Texas, passed away on May 11, 2023. She was born on March 31, 1949 in Bronx, New York, the daughter of Francis D. Keane and Doris Romedy Keane. Donna married John Raymond Wait and they celebrated 56 years of marriage together before her passing.

Donna grew up in New York, where she met her husband and started her family. They relocated to Texas in 1972, where she worked as an office manager for Godfrey Propane before retiring after 20 years of service. In her spare time, Donna enjoyed gardening, spending time outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family. She held a special place in her heart for animals and spent many years working aside her daughter in showing off Great Danes. Donna loved to help others and was always supporting her local veteran organizations.

Donna is survived by her husband, John; their daughter Ellen Martin and husband Raymond; grandchildren Kristie Martin-Migl and husband Derek and Kellie Martin; and great granddaughter Heidie Fangman.

The family will hold a celebration of Donna’s life later this year. Memorial contributions may be made in Donna’s honor to St.Jude Children’s Hospital or America’s VetDogs in lieu of flowers.
