Donna Kay Caldwell

Donna Kay Caldwell, age 76 of Arlington, passed away on August 28, 2023 with her family at her side. She was born on November 1, 1946 in Clarendon, Texas, the daughter of Harold Mithelman and June Kirkpatrick Mithelman. Donna married her childhood sweetheart in 1964 and she and Jerry Caldwell celebrated 59 years of marriage together.

Donna and her family moved to Iowa, where she graduated from Marion High School. After marriage, she and Jerry moved to Texas to enjoy warmer winters and begin their family. Donna was a beautician and cosmetologist who loved expressing her artistic style as a hairdresser for 53 years. She was passionate about enjoying life, loving her family, and spending time with friends. In her spare time, she loved to travel, take many road trips (and detours along the way), pottery, gardening, and sketching. Family and friends will miss her sense of humor and her warm hugs.

Donna leaves behind her husband, Jerry; their children Heidi Stricklin and husband Scott, Chad Caldwell and wife Shelley, and Casey Caldwell and wife Brandy; grandchildren Zakary Stricklin, Cassidy Caldwell, and Baylor Caldwell; and her sister, Linda Crawford and husband Richard.
