Daniel Manuel Ramirez Jr.

November 20, 1944 – June 12, 2023

Daniel Manuel Ramirez, Jr. passed away at the age of 78 with numerous family members by his side. Daniel was born on November 20, 1944 in Falfurrias, Texas.

Daniel was a devout Catholic devoted to Jesus and Blessed Mother Mary. He retired from Frito-Lay after 30 years of service. Daniel was an avid sports fan, especially baseball. He had a great sense of humor, always joking with his family and friends. He also enjoyed all genres of music.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Dorothy Paradise Ramirez, daughters Pamela Benavidez (Louis), Carmen Nash (Daniel), Kristy Ramirez, son Michael Ramirez (Teresa), stepson Andy Paradise, stepdaughter Clara Colwill, 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, sisters Maria Evans and Ann Barkley.

He was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Carmen Ramirez and his son Sheridan Ramirez. His family and friends will miss him dearly.

A Memorial Mass will be 10:00 am Friday June 16, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 610 NE 17th Street Grand Prairie, TX 75050
