Graveside Service: 10 a.m. Thursday at Moore Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, 76012, one hour prior.
Daniel was born May 25, 1947 in Augusta, Georgia to Marvin and Margie McCoy. He worked for General Motors Arlington and retired after 37 years of dedicated service.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Margie McCoy, and his sister, Caneglia Phillips.
Survivors: wife of 18 years, Beverly McCoy; step-son, Gene Lenderman and wife, Clarlene; step-grandchildren, Heather Lenderman Turpin and Kevin Lenderman; sisters, Katherine Bontempo and Cindy Balanger; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
