Cathy Belynda Davis

Cathy was born October 27, 1964, and went to her heavenly home on June 18, 2023.

She was born to Judy and Roy Sylvester in Greenwood, Mississippi.

Cathy gave her life to Christ and was baptized by her father in Ebenezer Baptist Church in Lexington, Mississippi. She was a member of the Crossroads Christian Church in Grand Prairie, Texas.

She graduated from Central Holmes Academy in Lexington, Mississippi.

Cathy met the love of her life, Randy Davis, in Fort Worth, Texas. They were married on January 24, 1986.

She enjoyed time with her family, especially family reunions, and friends. She found great joy in her fur babies, shopping, travel, and a movie with her loved ones. One of her greatest joys that showed her love was working with St. Jude Fund Raising.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Randy Davis, and her mother, Judy Parish Sylvester, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Sylvester, and her father and mother-in-law, Duane and Billie Davis.

The family requests that donation be made to the American Kidney Foundation.

A Memorial Visitation & Celebration of Life for Cathy will be held Monday, June 26, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
