Anna An Hong Vu, age 64, passed away peacefully on February 23rd, after a short battle with cancer. Born in Vietnam in October of 1958 to her two loving parents, Phero Long Vu and Teresa The Dinh, she was the oldest of seven siblings. An married her husband, Minh Phan, in 1980 and dedicated her life to starting and loving her family. She was a caring sister, a loving wife, and a wonderful mother. An also devoted her life to the Catholic faith and was very passionate about being a great servant of God. Many would remember her for her fervent love for God and earnest generosity toward others. To her last day, An continued to express her ardent desire to enter the Kingdom and to see others in her life there.
An is survived by her husband, Minh Phan, her children and their spouses: Phuong Phan and Tuyen Ly, Huong Phan and Tri Nguyen, and Huy Phan. She is also survived by her three grandchildren: Tristen, Preston, and Natalie.
Visitation on Thursday, March 9, 2022, will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with prayer service taking place at 7 PM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home. Visitation on Friday, March 10, 2022, will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with Rosary being recited at 7 PM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, March 11, at 10:00 AM at Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church to be followed by the Rite of Committal at Moore Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, in Arlington, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you have Masses said for the repose of Anna An Hong Vu's Soul.
