Ann Sakowski

Ann graduated from Grand Prairie High School and received a Bachelor of Arts from Texas Weslyn University. She was married to Peter C. Sakowski, Jr. on May 19, 1962. Ann had a career in Campus Technology Management in the Arlington Independent School District. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and had a passion for her family, friends, and animals of all kinds.

Ann was a loving soul who was everyone's shoulder to lean on. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, cousin, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She gave her heart to many and didn't expect anything in return. She was kind, considerate, and knew just what to say to make people feel good about themselves. She will be missed dearly.

Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Loraine (Lawler) Humphrey, and her father, Russel Fortner Humphrey. She is survived by her husband, Peter C. Sakowski, Jr.; her sons: Steve and Brent (and his wife, Jane); her grandchildren: Ava and Ryan; and her brother, Jimmy Luther Humphrey, his wife, Barbara, and their daughter, Lynn Andress.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas.
