William W. Wiard

Of Prospect Heights  

William Wiard was born June 3, 1943 in Chicago to George and Loretta Wiard.  He died November 4, 2019 at Aspired Living of Prospect Heights.   

As a cofound and owner of Windy City Cutting Die, an avid golfer, and fisherman, Bill created many lasting friendships. Bill was always willing to help and support his friends through hard times. His charisma and ability to make people laugh were consistent throughout life and was even present at Aspired Living where his jokes and humor entertained staff.

William is survived by his daughters Georgia Wiard and Traci (Chris) Gochis, his brother Ron (Georgina) Wiard, and his four grandchildren Alex, Apollo, Angelina, and Alyssa. 

Bill is preceded in death by his wife Margaret and by his parents.  

Visitation Friday, November 8, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights.  Interment private.
