Of Waukegan
William Paolella was born July 18, 1957 in Evanston, Illinois to Joseph Paolella and Jane (nee Anderson). He died Tuesday, November 12 at Allure of Zion.
Before retiring in 2001, Mr. Paolella worked as a maintenance technician for Underwriters Laboratories in Northbrook for over 20 years. He served in the Navy from 1975 until 1979. Bill enjoyed extensive travel as a young man. He was a devoted and highly knowledgeable Chicago sports fan. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends and his endearing personality will be dearly missed by all.
He is survived by his half-siblings, Barbara (Chris) Paolella-Myers and their children, Alexis and Cooper; and Ted (Nona) Paolella.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Catherine and David Paolella.
Funeral Mass 10:00 am, Thursday, November 21, 2024 at St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd,, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Visitation 9:00 am. Committal service following Mass at All Saints Cemetery. Guests attending should meet at the office.
