Martin Contreras

of Elgin

Martin was born October 28, 1963 in Valle De Juarez, Mexico to Felimon and Adela (nee Chavez) Contreras. He passed away on September 3, 2022.

Martin owned and operated Time Renovation & Construction Inc. He wanted to be an example for his family. In his free time he enjoyed spending time at the ranch riding horses. He enjoyed listening to music as much as he enjoyed singing it. His happy place was being home in Valle De Juarez. You never found him without a smile on his face.

Martin is survived by his wife Teresa (nee Martinez) Contreras; his children Edgardo Martin Contreras, Ivan Alejandro Contreras and Teresa Maura Contreras and by his mother.

He is preceded in death by nephew Jesus Martinez; his uncle Jose Francisco Contreras and by his father.

Visitation Sunday, 3- 7 PM on September 11, 2022 at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004, Funeral Mass 10:00 AM, Monday, September 12, 2022 at Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1170 N. River Road, Des Plaines, IL 60016. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
