Joanne Fedewa, SLW

Sister Joanne Fedewa, Sisters of the Living Word, originally from Riley, Michigan, passed away into eternal life on February 13th, 2024 at 93 yrs. of age. Preceding her in heaven are her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth (Thelen) Fedewa, her sisters, Bernita (Alex) Vitek, Mary (Joseph) Smith, Odelia (Gerald) Thelen, Margaret (Clair) Thelen, Catherine (John) Van Acker, and her brothers, Leo (Alberta) Fedewa, Msgr. Sylvester Fedewa, James Fedewa and Joseph Fedewa. She is survived by her brother, Fr. Matt Fedewa, her sisters-in-law, Mary Ann (James) Fedewa and Janice (Joseph) Fedewa, many cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, her Sisters and Associates of the Living Word, and many dear friends.

The Sisters are very grateful to the loving care given to Sister Joanne at Resurrection Life Center. In honor of Sister Joanne donations may be given to the Sisters of the Living Word.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Joanne that will take place on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 from 10:30 am until Mass of the Resurrection at 11:30am. at St. Thomas Villanova Church, 1201 East Anderson Drive, Palatine, Illinois 60074.
