Howard M. Richardson

Howard M. Richardson, 91, of Mt. Prospect, IL, passed away Thursday November 29, 2018. Howard was born June 18, 1927 in Detroit, MI. He served in the Army during WWII. Afterwards he graduated from Albion College in Michigan.

He was employed for several years with Dow Chemical Company. He later became Sales Manager of Reliance Safety Equipment Co. He was active at his church, served as a past Master of Masonic Lodge 818, was a member of both VFW Post 1337 and American Legion Post 525.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth of 67 years, their three children: Linda Hengesh (Mark), Jim Richardson (Susan), and Bruce Richardson (Trish), and his four grandchildren: Allison Tranchita (Anthony), Sarah Hengesh, Ben Richardson, and Ellie Richardson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights, 1903 E. Euclid Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children (2211 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago 60707) or The First United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights.
