Florence V. Paul

Florence V. Paul was born on November 30, 1939, in Chicago, IL to Jesse and Jessie (nee Luzadder) Morehead. She passed away on January 19, 2024, at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Florence was the Office Manager for the Guth and Coughlin law firm for many years and was a major contributor to the success of the business until her retirement.

Florence also volunteered her time to the local troop and district of the Boy Scouts of America over the years. First as a den mother to her son’s pack, then later volunteered to serve in several positions in the local scout district.

She was also an active member of Saint Peter Lutheran Church for over 50 years and also was a member of several church groups and organizations.

Florence is survived by her spouse for over 61 years Henry Fred Paul, Jr; her daughter Pam (Kevin) Wilson and her son Matt (Debbie) Paul; her grandchildren Liz (Joey) Griesel, Becky (fiancé Purav Patel) Bianchi; Christopher Paul, Jenny (Dan) Maslowski, Emily Paul and Steven Paul; her great-grandchildren Brayden, Addie, and Harper Griesel; her sister Nancy (late Larry) Kendall; she is also survived by her niece and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her sister Judy (Ted) Karvon.

Visitation Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, IL 60004 and on Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 10:00am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00am at St. Peter Lutheran Church 111 West Olive Street Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will follow at Arlington Heights Wheeling Township Cemetery.
